Basic information security policy

Japan Bitcoin Industry Co., Ltd. has established this basic information security policy as the guiding principle of its information security efforts, in order to protect customer assets and conduct highly trustworthy crypto-asset-related business.

  1. 1.Internal structure and information security policies

    We will maintain the management structure necessary to sustain and improve security, and will codify the required information security measures as formal internal policies.

  2. 2.Leadership responsibility and continuous improvement

    Our management will comply with this policy and take the lead in ensuring that the assets of the company and of our customers are properly managed.

  3. 3.Compliance with laws and contractual requirements

    We will comply with laws, regulations, and norms related to crypto assets; with information security rules and standards of government agencies and industry bodies; and with the security requirements of our contracts with customers.

  4. 4.Commitments for employees and contractors

    Our officers and employees will comply with our information security policies and maintain and improve information security. For contractors, we will screen at the time of engagement whether they maintain a security level equal to or higher than ours, and establish a structure for regularly auditing that this level is maintained.

  5. 5.Response to violations and incidents

    We will maintain a response structure for violations of laws, regulations, norms, and customer contracts related to information security, as well as for information security incidents, and will work to prevent their occurrence and mitigate their impact.
